Rein Automotive now offers a new, upgradedRein Aluminum Oil Filter Housingfor popular BMW B46 2.0L 4 Cyl. engines. This first-to-market Rein housing was developed and tested in collaboration with members of our CRP Innovation Council who regularly service these vehicles and could provide valuable insight into common issues with the original plastic part, such as warping and cracking.

The new upgraded Rein housing features full aluminum construction to eliminate many of the common causes for failure of the OE part and to ensure increased durability for a longer, problem-free service life. For easy installation, the oil filter cartridge and mounting hardware are included, as well as a pre-installed oil cooler. To ensure optimal performance, high-performance gasket materials are used throughout the assembly.
